Rev. Rebecca Pugh said he was speaking very clearly about the upcoming election when they saw him this week. “I told him if he could write it down for me, I would send it” to the paper, she said.

The reasons I hope to have America blessed with a candidate like Senator Sanders for president are simple.

He’s what America needs right now. His whole political career, the honorable Sanders has been true to his words.

Many politicians say something and do something else, or worse do nothing. Bernie has fought for the middle class and minorities all along.

The topics of social reform such as: Mass incarceration, universal healthcare, environmental responsibility, assault weapon reform, and the raise of minimum wage have always been his goals.

All the other political band wagoners are playing catch up now that these issues have become nationally popular and pressing quandaries.

Bernie was alone on most of these issues long before his stances would prove prophetic in their wisdom.

In the 90s, tough on crime was a theatrical oneupmanship, which has resulted in, as Bernie warned, a nightmare.

Mass incarceration is now such a pivotal part of America. Millions of Americans are incarcerated or part of the prison-industrial complex.

The petroleum fuel companies, prisons, insurance companies, and NRA are unstoppable juggernauts in our nation.

We can’t hurt them without hurting America. Sanders is the only candidate who will fight these industries with our interests at heart.

He is not saying these things for popularity or votes.

Bernie Sanders is sincere, compassionate, and the greatest chance for the future of our democracy.

The 99% of Americans who want their democracy back from the abusive, avaricious, and tyrannical hands of the super rich should vote for Sanders.

Do not get me wrong. I am also a capitalist at core.

The problems with America today is we have to make the distinction between capitalism and exploitation clear.

Money is not God, nor families, nor people. Bernie Sanders is balance America desperately needs and deserves.

God bless you and may God always bless your loved ones.
