COLUMBIA, S.C. (WSAV) – Ahead of the South Carolina Democratic presidential primary on Saturday, the State Election Commission (SEC) wants voters to be informed about the process — and aware of important deadlines.

MIDWAY, Ga. (WSAV) – A man and a family of five are dead following a head-on collision on I-95 early Sunday morning.

According to Liberty County Sheriff’s Deputy Lt. Jason Colvin, around 2 a.m., the Liberty County 911 issued a “lookout advisory” on a white Lexus traveling southbound in the northbound lane of I-95. Deputies were headed to the interstate when they received another call about an accident that occurred on I-95 at exit 76 in Midway.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Construction is now beginning on a $20 million Amazon distribution center in Port Wentworth, according to city officials.

Original estimates predict the center will bring at least 250 jobs, but Councilman Glenn ‘Pig’ Jones says there is a possibility it could bring as many as 1,000 jobs.
